Looking for Lambertson, Timmons, Bork & Related Families
I have been researching since abt 1997, I have over 200 pictures of our ancesters, which I send CD's to anyone that shares a picture with me, I am willing to share my information with anyone willing to share with me. I just recently became a Gr Grandmother and am delighted.
My Brick Walls seem to be on my mothers family: BORK. they came from Germany in 1882, my grandfathers name was: Harry David BORK and that is about all I know of him, my mothers families BUERKEY, also came from Germany in 1878, my mother was already having dementia by the time I began researching so she was no help.
We all need to talk to our children and others to start reserching befor our families are all gone.

Buerkey of Toledo Ohio
Elizabeth/Hartenstien/ b:1852 in Germany & spouse: Fredric/Buerkey/(spelling could be; Burkey or Burkay).
Came to the USA about 1881 with several children, one named Elizabeth, Possibly a Thomas, Tressa, and possibly a John, & a Marie.
Elizabeth, b: 1885 in Germany, married; Stephen Keen; b: abt 1901, Marie Keen; b: abt 1906. The Keen family was very close to Elizabeth's sister; Julia Bork and her daughter; Betty Jane Bork. Elizabeth/Hartenstien/ Buerkey, lived with her daughter Elizabeth Keen and was entered on the 1920 Toledo, Ohio Census as Mother-in-law, Elizabeth/Bork/age 68, Born in Germany, immigrated 1888, Naturalized 1893, Died in 1930; Omaha, Douglas, NE, buried in: Holy Sepuclure Cemetery. She had a daughter; Julia Margaret born in Detroit, Michigan, Jun 15, 1892 (my Grandmother).
Elizabeth/Hartentsien/Buerkey, had a Step-sister; Kate (Katie) married to a Sam Miller, that may have came from Germany together, the Millers' may have had a daughter that may have died on the ship.
Elizabeth owned several General Stores so they moved several times, her husband Fredric was a Tailor so he also may have had a seperate busines or possibly a combined businesses.
Elizabeth had come to the USA also as a teenager to stay with an aunt, Elizabeth lost her hand in a threshing machine and was sent back to Germanly. probably in about 1869
Looking for family members of HARRY DAVID BORK, from Germany
Harry David BORK was my grandfather, he was born in Germany 1879, came to USA at age of 3 1882, married Julia Buerkey abt 1912, had a daughter Betty Jane, in 1913 and a son Fredric Roy in Jun of 1920 (after his death),
Harry Died in Lusk Wyoming 1920, he lived in many states during his life time, Cook County,ILL, Omaha, Nebraska, he Naturalized in Lewistown, Fergus County, Montana year 1900.
I do not know where his family came to in USA or where they came from in Germany. I do not know any other family members
