Geneology is now my hobby gone wild as we continue to find bits and pieces of family history that leads us from New York to Michigan to Minnesota.

I am researching my husband's family from Canajoharie, New York and Ionia, Michigan. My husband is the great grandson of Hiram and Catherine Scramling Roberts.

In the 1830 Canajoharie NY Census it lists
Margaret Bullock Roberts, born abt. 1794, New York
with four young children. (Hiram's mother)

In the 1850 Canajoharie NY Census it lists
Margaret with adult children:
Andrew Roberts(29) as a Wheelwright, his wife? Esther and 2 small children (Anna and Lydia)
Eliakam (23)
Hiram (27)

In the 1870 Canajoharie NY Census it shows Margaret (76) living with Eliakam and his wife Mary.

Margaret's husband is allegedly of Welsh heritiage and was born in Wales but his name is unknown.
