I am an old woman, a widow, an opera lover, a reader, a history buff, and a writer. I am interested in geology, astronomy, general science, social and cultural histories of Europe, medieval history, ancient Egypt, the Mideast, mythology, and other things as it happens to grab me. I once was a movie goer but I've fallen away from that enthusiasm since the prices went up and the good actors began to die off. I am interested in my ancestors and my husbands mostly to discover where they came from and what they did for a living. I have found that this isn't always easy to discover. I am currently a dedicated watcher of House M.D.; Lost; Bones; and the Discovery and History Channels. I would love to hear from somebody named Wall who might tell me which John Wall the earliest ancestor in Virginia might have been mine. There were too many of them altogether but mine was born in 1680, possibly in VA.
