Born in Miller County, Arkansas. Lived in Wink, Texas, back to Arkansas. After high school, worked 8 years then went into the Marine Corps. Duty at Jacksonville, Florida; Memphis, Tennessee; Cherry Point, North Carolina; where I married another Marine. Other stations Quantico, Virginia; San Diego, California; Camp Pendleton, California. While there, a cousin sent a copy of a pedigree chart of our family with only 15 names on it. That started my interest in Genealogy. I then moved back to East Texas, worked for a while then got custody of 3 grandchildren, retired, received a used computer and the rest is History. Like to do genealogy research, read, grow roses.
