Want information about Henry P Evans

Journal by Peel

Henry Evans was my great grandfather. He was chief cashier at the Head Office of the Bank of Ireland in central Dublin in the late 19th century. He was born in 1838,married Maria Tyner on 7/11/1865 at St. Kevins COI church in the Parish of St.Peters, Dublin. According to my copy of his marriage certificate his father was named as Thomas. The RCP Library, Braemar Park, Dublin have conducted searches of St.Peters Parish but were unable to find entries relating to the births of either Henry or Thomas Evans. My problem is to find out Henry's birthplace and whether this is in Ireland or is it in Wales whence many namesakes living in Ireland originate. I am hoping Family Tree Circles could help me.
