Hi is your grandmother and brother James any connection with Dunscore in Dumfriesshire my family are from there in the 1700 / 1800s. My grandmother was Agnes Moffat Edgar b 1873 in Mop cottage Dunscore fathers name was William b 1847
his father was John a master blacksmiths at Througate in the parish of Dunscore. please contact me Derek.

Hi again my gggg grandfather James Edgar had 4 son James and my ggg grandfather John b 1796 the blacksmiths at Dunscore and 2 other brothers Robert b1801 and William b 1798. John son was also named James b 1836 I have a family uncle James b 1883. Any help Derek
