Apart from contacting the local history society for the Scone area and the local library, you might want to try the Newcastle Public Library Photo Database (http://collections.ncc.nsw.gov.au/keemu/pages/nrm/index.htm). They have a small number of photos online but have an extensive collection of images offline. If you contact the Local History section they might be able to help. Also, the State Library (http://www2.sl.nsw.gov.au/picman/) and State Archives (http://investigator.records.nsw.gov.au/asp/photosearch/introduction.htm) both have online image libraries you could access.

Cheers,
Michelle
