who was the father of arthur hains

arthur hains was born in ashton keynes in c1844 to eliza hains of south cerney. dispite extensive research i have had no success in finding the father of arthur. it is said that eliza and his father went to americar and left him with his grandmother who married william brain. they sent for arthur when he was older to jion them but he did not want to go and stayed in england. if any one can solve the mystery could they please contact me at tim.haines@hotmail.co.uk . thanks tim haines.

and the 1841 with mother Eliza and it looks like William & Sarah Brain are listed as her aunt and uncle, but possibly census recorded incorrectly, as it says grandson on the 1861 but that could supposition as well.
