My grandfather changed his name several times. If you are a Wigington-Wiggleton-Wigginton and have reached a brick wall then this could be one of the reasons.
Through the years I have been told a lot about my grandfather and through the searching I have mentioned what I had been told by family memebers through the years. My father said his father was of Cherokee decent. Well now I know this to be wrong. In 2007 my sister and I had our 79 year old father's DNA tested through FamilyTreeDNA and we have found out there is no Indian Blood, one mystery solved. I though my grandfather's name was John Wesley Rippy but had heard he was a Wiggleton-Wigington-Wigginton, well this was verified by DNA he is a Wiggleton-Wigington-Wigginton.
This is what I do know of my grandfather: Fact

My grandfather John Wesley Rippy died Tuesday April 18, 1961 in the Hardin County General Hospital. His body was brought to our house for about 3 days and then he was layed to rest by my grandmother Lillie Belle Rippy at Clifton Tennessee Cemetery #2 in Wayne Co. TN.
If any one knows of him or his family please email me. I am still searching for his family.
