WILLIAM ADAMS and Emma Dixon were the first white couple to be married in Masterton, Wairarapa, New Zealand

They married in 1854 and had 16 children - 8 boys and 8 girls, all born in Masterton.
I am still researching and adding these children

Emma arrived in New Zealand on the 'Arab'
