William Jacka and Grace Hollow

William's father was William Jacka born 1763 St.Buryan wife unknown they had seven children.

William 1794 and my g.g.grandmother Elizabeth b1793 were brother and sister, one of William's children was Joseph 1832 Joseph had a son Nathaniel b1861 in Australia and he had a son Albert b1893 who was the first Australian to win a V.C. you may already have this information William and Grace had fourteen children.

Thank you farrowbmf.

I did not know Albert was the first Australia to win the V.C., and it looks like I have missed four of William and Grace's children.

I appreciate your reply.

hi guys,
the book is called HARD JACKA, a novel about the exploits of Albert Jacka, VC, Australias first Victoria Cross winner during the Great War, and the men of the 14th Battalion, First AIF (with some great photos). There is also a sequel
