Dear SiliverVixen,

Thank you for your assistance and it very odd indeed. I think that the John Lister Knight that I am looking for came to Australia in 1859 at the age of 15 years and linked up with his brother William. All the records that I have been able to find so far have them at similar places untill 1873 when he moved to Wellington in NSW which is about 600 Km south west of Liston where his brother William had a farm on Cemetery Creek where the tin mines were.

Do you know where Cobhan is located in England?

I would like to thank you for your assistance it is very much appreciated at present it is 2.00pm in the afternoon and it is about 38 degrees outside and we are to have this hot weather till Wednesday. Can you send over some snow?

My kindest regards,

Hi Tenterfield, I have never heard of Cobhan, but I do know Cobham, i used to live near there, it is in Surrey, a very pretty little village. Cobhan could exist however but I cannot find it on Google.
