William Richard REDDROP was baptised in Bickley, Cheshire, England on the 30 October 1817. He married Margaret WILLIAMS in Malpas, Cheshire on the 22 February 1836. If I have done my research correctly they had nine children.

3. Margaret bapt.1838 Malpas.
4. Ann bapt.1842 Malpas, Cheshire.
5. Charles bapt.1844 Willey, Cheshire.
6. William bapt. 1846 Willey, Cheshire.
7. James bapt.1848 Willey, Cheshire.
8. Richard bapt.1852 Willey, Cheshire.
9. Frances bapt.1855 Stretton, Cheshire.

Joseph REDDROP came out to Australia on the "Great Britain" in 1861 when he was 24 years old. There was also a C REDDROP (aged 19 years) recorded on the passenger list, but I have not identified this person to date. Joseph's parents and siblings came out on the "Great Britain" in 1863. I presume Joseph came out first to set up house.
