- in September 1891 he erected and opened a larger store adjoining the Masonic Hotel and opposite the Corner Store, selling Drapery, Clothing, Groceries, Hardware, Crockery, Ironmongery, Boots & Shoes etc etc. He traded as Younghusband & Co

Ada (living in Dannevirke) filed for a Divorce at Palmerston North Court from Frank on the 16th August 1904 on the grounds of desertion. His whereabouts was unknown at the time. He remarried in 1905 in Christchurch to Adela Mary ROCHE, an Artist, Art Teacher and photographer, who founded the Phoenix Group in 1952 and the Studio Art Group in 1957 in Auckland, and continued to work and exhibit until the mid 1960s.
Frank and Adela seperated in 1917
- Frank died in 1921 aged 56 leaving Adela with 3 children:
