My name is Allen Taylor and I was born Dec. 27th 1976 in Virginia. I have an older brother Michael and a younger sister Nancy.There is not much I know about my family expect my father is David L. Taylor the son of Basil and Marilyn Taylor. He was born in Michigan but the family moved to Ohio. I know he has brothers and sisters but I do not know any of their names and I have no idea where in Ohio my family member live seeing there are so many Taylors who live out there.I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has information to help me figure out who I am and where I come from, Thank you.

I would suggest you write this again or edit it...
and at the bottom of the journal type in the surname list...put TAYLOR so that is comes up when people search for the Taylor surname.
In the heading where you have written,,"I don't know my family..." I suggest you write "Seeking information on David L Taylor of Michigan"..or
"Descendants of Basil and Marilyn Taylor of Ohio"
Or.."Taylors of Ohio"...
This is what we see in that big list of daily entries from people searching for family members.
You want your journal to say up front who it is you're looking for...and it will prompt people to write back to you.
With those dates I am hoping you would be able to access some sort of records for births in your state/country and then follow where the links lead you.
Also do a search here for Taylor in the box up on the right hand corner see where it leads..Taylor surname page perhaps.
The editor Alleycat is always willing to help others with their researching.
