Have now found some of my GALLETLY family who resided in Ashburton NZ.
If any of you are connected to same would love to hear from you.

Mr Leonard GALLETLY married Emma Phoebe FERGUSON in 1912 NZ. Reg. No: 1912/4612

I believe their eldest child was Alice Maronan GALLETLY b: 04 May 1913 in Ashburton NZ who married Hector Sutherland McLauchlan - both deceased - no offspring.

In 'Papers Past', Ashburton Guardian there is an article in Dec. 1912 re a Mrs. E. P. GALLETLY in charge of Post office...besides another article about the new school at Moronan, Ashburton where it mentions members of the GALLETLY family.

Anyone know more or are connected to the above would be delighted to hear from you.

you could try the family history group in ashburton they have the school records etc.its on the net with all the details
