In searching for the link to my Boone heritage, my hope was to be linked to the great pioneer, Daniel Boone. I love history, and as a young child the classic film which aired weekly of the Pioneer who wore the coon hat and lived in the wilderness of Kentucky with his family, was an all time favorite television show our family never missed. Of course it was great watching about the great pioneer on television who shared the same last name as mine, but it was much more interesting learning about Daniel Boone in my history book. I often wondered if our Boone ancestry was linked to this great pioneer.
