MULVANY, could be MULVANEY FROM Antrim, Ireland

Journal by paulanthonyjoseph

John Mulvany was born in 1834~in County Antrim. Can't find the exact details there!
Around say 1858-1864 somehow he arrived into New Zealand to work the goldfields, either Otago first or Westland. We have knowledge of a work permit from 1865.
We've searched extensively list of passengers and fast becoming to accept many records were destroyed.

His bride to be was Elizabeth Burns from County Donegal, Ireland. I have her migration records from 1878.

John Mulvaney died in NZ on 2nd February,1902, aged 68yrs.

Feel free to email me direct @ paulmulvaney@clear.net.nz and release the stress.

Since John was married to Elizabeth at Rimu, Hokitika 17 March 1885 aged 44years then John would have been born 1841.They were married only 19 years before his death. At his death 3 February 1904 he is recorded as being 63 years of age.Elizabeth widowed with her youngest baby born 6 months after his death, 15 August 1904.

I need far more proof for this matter.
Who said John was 44yrs old! I have thoroughly canvassed the DOB in his Parish in Ireland. For the record he was born John Mulvenna.

I have never seen a copy of John's Death Certificate. What I always questioned was the year of 1902.Have you a copy available or how did you get one!
It does seem an error of sorts when on three records including the headstone at the back of the family properly engraved clearly 2nd February,1902,aged 68yrs.
Yes their youngest sibling, Margaret was born on 15/8/1904.

Please email me directly paulmulvaney@clear.net.nz
Perhaps you need to see the Family Tree which all verified can be made available.

The silence is deafening!!!!!

Perhaps you'd or anyone would provide both the details reference of the Death Certificate 419/1905 for John.

Also the Marriage Certificate reference 523/1885.

Cheers
