SALVATION ARMY '"BUTTON" DAY.
To the Editor.
Sir,-Seeing in your paper that the Salvation Army is having a "Button" Day on Friday, Oct. 18. I would like, as a recently returned soldier, to say a word of appreciation in connection with the work it is doing both in France and England. I am certain that any returned soldier can speak only words of praise for the splendid work accomplished for the troops by that body.
The public cannot support the SalvationArmy too liberally.-Yours, etc.,
(1347, L/cpL) A. E. PUTMAN,
(32nd Battalion).
Subiaco. Oct. 15.
