I am looking the birth of Samuel Rowbottom around 1720 give or take 3 years either way.He married Hannah Dale in 1753 in Belton in Axholme
Lincolnshire ( she was born there in1725) but he do se not seem to come from there

It is possible that the family came from Somerset. I have found them at Shepton Mallett in 1664.

Rowberrow is a small hamlet near Shipham on the Mendip Hills the nearest biggish place is Axbridge.

The parish church is St Leonard Shipham. I was there recently recording the gravestone monuments, hence your post caught my eye.
