HI, MY NAME IS WYILA, I JUST FOUND THIS SITE WHILE LOOKING FOR MY GREAT GRANDFATHER. HIS NAME WAS JOSHUA DAUGHERTY, HE WAS MARRIED TO A MARY TIBLOW. HE WAS AN ORPHAN IN 1857 AT FIVE YEARS OLD AND HIS FATHER'S NAME WAS EDWARD, I CANNOT FIND ANY TRACE BEFORE THEN. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE SHAWNEE TRIBE THAT WAS ADOPTED INTO THE CHEROKEE TRIBE IN THE 1860'S AND MOVED TO CRAIG COUNTY, OK. WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO.

My father's father was a Daugherty (European). My father's mother was of the Oglala Sioux tribe in Pine Ridge South Dakota. I know I am related to Tiblow and Shangreux families that still live there but do not know them.
