Looking for information on a person named Captain George Dryden, he lived in the Tasmanion, Launceston area.

Had a daughter Louisa Martha Dryden (became McCarron & then White) who died in Devonport, TAS., in 1942, however there does not seem to be a record of her burial location. Logically it should be in Devonport, however the local historical society have informed me that her name does not appear.
Her husband Henry Vautin White, was buried in Flowerdale, TAS., and maybe she is buried with him, however he died in 1916. And I have no access to a burial register.
Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you Bob

Looking for COLEMAN BELBIN of South Australia

Hi folks,
Currently looking for the background of an Eliza Elizabeth COLEMAN, who married a Charles Henry BELBIN, who was born in Tasmania (I think).

Eliza was not born a COLEMAN, she had been married before, I believe to a Joseph COLEMAN, however that is what I am attempting to work on, I have very weak information pointing to her being a SHAW, but that is far from being proved.
I am hoping that someone on this board may be able to point me in the right direction, or even let me know what is correct.

Any assistance is helpful, Regards, Bob

PS... ALL THIS OCCURED IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA...Sorry :)

Trying to locate a death of Sarah Cameron Goodwin / Boddington

Dear Friends,
Trying to find a death notice for a Sarah Cameron Goodwin / Boddington,
I "think" she was "married" (been unable to verify this through the Victorian BDM,) in the year
1914, details I have are as follows:

Name: Sarah Cameron Boddington
Born: 1887, Melbourne Victoria, Australia
Death: UNKNOWN
Buried: UNKNOWN
Marriage: UNKNOWN
Partnered/Married: Leslie Frederick Burliegh Goodwin

Death: Aug 1949, Panton Hill, Victoria, Australia
Buried: Fawkner Cemetery, Victoria, Australia
Children:
Dorthy Goodwin Boddington, Leslie Cameron Goodwin, James Burleigh Goodwin.

As you can see, I have done extensive research on this family, and would appreciate any assistance
to track down this elusive death date. I know she was alive in 1914, (some researchers are stating
a death date in the same year, maybe at the birth?? I have been unable to find any burial date.

Looking for the parents of Richard Marr Scott

Dear Friends,
I am looking for details of parents for Richard Marr Scott, seem he married Lucy Heeps in South Australia. He died 1898 in Strathalbyn, South Australia, his wife died in South Australia.
My wifes Grandmother, Ivy Pickett was the daughter of Thomas Pickett and Louisa Mary Lehmann. Louisa Mary Lehmann was the daughter of Wilhelm Lehmann and Mary Lousia Scott (Marie Louise Scott) and Mary Louisa Scott was the daughter of Richard Marr Scott and Lucy Heeps.
Richard Scott is believed to be the son of Winfield Scott. In Richards death notice it says he was ?son of the late Gen Winfield Scott of the USA.. American papers please copy?. I would love contact with anyone in regards to our family connections.
I have yet to find any person who can make the "connection" to Gen winfield Scott, but I'm encouraged by the many people who have stated that they will keep an eye on the issue, thank you everyone I am sure that this will be sorted out before very long.
