Missing W.W.! and W.W.2 Soldiers

Hello, as well as researching my own family,I am also attempting to identify people who fought during World War 1 and 2
and who were later to become patients in the Lake Alice Psychiatric Hospital which was situated on The outskirts of the town of Marton in New Zealand and existed during the years 1952 and 1999. Lake Alice was a \"secure unit\" and did not host patient visiting.

The people whom I am searching for died while in Lake Alice and were subsequently buried in Mount View Cemetery which is also just out of Marton. From interviews I have found that, generally the only people who attended these funerals would be an undertaker, a Minister of a church and one or two representatives of the Marton Returned and Services Association. Family Members were seldom if ever present and, I believe were not even advised when a death occurred

They are presently buried in unmarked graves and I am attempting to verify exactly whereabouts they lie in the Cemetery in order that we may arrange for official military headstones to be erected on their graves to befit these people who served our country in the cause of peace.

So far I have positively traced twenty odd burials and believe that there are still a number that I have not been made aware of.

A major problem that I am up against are the laws of confidentiality making it very difficult to reconcile names with military records, obtain names of patients who died while in Lake Alice, reconciling birth and death records and the tracing living descendants.

If anyone can provide me with any information to help with this research, however insignificant it my seem, i should be most grateful and will acknowledge same.
