Hi, all my families came from London area or Yorkshire between 1840s and 1919 over about 3 generations.
I have all of my direct uplines sorted _except_ the Procters.
Christopher Henry Procter, born Bradford 1866, wife Emily (nee Porritt. and son John.
They appear in the UK census of 1891 but not in 1901.
My Grandfather William Alfred Procter is said to have been born in Auckland NZ in 1895.
That leaves a 4 year window for emigration but I can't find a ship or passenger list.
Christopher's brother Charles (normally Chas) disappears from UK censuses as above so might well
have travelled with them or perhaps emigrated elsewhere.
