Robert Henry Hamilton married Roma Margaret (Matilda) Skidmore sometime between 1908-1910. She was living probably in OK and probably met Robert there also. Roma was born in 1885 Horton, Brown Co, KS. Robert was about 12 years older than her from what family tells me--born abt 1874-1877 supposedly in TX.

They had three children: Ruby Louise, b. 1911 CA, Esther, b.1912 CA, and Arden Esadore b.24 Nov 1914 CA. Robert disappears from the scene about 1916 in CA. In her lifetime, Roma has 6 men she claimed as husbands: McGrew, Hamilton, Tuley, Hampel, Merritt and Locke. Probably, Tuley and Merritt were not legal marriages; however I haven't found any legal notices for any but Locke. My grandmother was a mysterious woman.

I am researching all lines connected with me. Mitchells enter the Skidmore line with Lucinda Mitchell and William Skidmore md 16 Dec 1823, Newcastle, Henry CO. KY. Lucinda intrigues me. I want to know more about her.
