Mount Zion Chapel, Heanor

My greatx4 grandparents were Robert Hardy & Fanny Trueman. On their marriage certificate it says that they were married in Mount Zion Chapel, Heanor on 25th December 1840. I cannot find any information on the above Chapel and would be grateful if anyone knows anything about it - I have been trying to find a photograph of it!??

ENDERBY connections in Lincolnshire

My greatx5 grandfather ENDERBY had twenty (known) children who also had many children and the family spread out over Lincolnshire with a few moving to Yorkshire and America in the 1800's. My direct line were farmers until the early 1900's, when my great-grandfather lost everything due to "foot and mouth" disease. Families connected are the WHALERS, THORNDIKES, READS, RIPPINS, NEEDHAMS and MACKINNEYS. If you think there is a connection please contact me.

HARDY Connections in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, England

My HARDY ancestors were born in the Heanor, Shipley, Cotmanhay and Ilkeston areas of Derbyshire. They were mostly miners until the late 1800's and then some of the families moved to Nottinghamshire to Arnold and became framework knitters. One of the families moved to the States in the 1800's. Some other names connected to the HARDY lines in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are TRUEMAN,WRIGHT,LEIVERS,TYLER,LEE,DAYKIN,THORPE,PADGETT,SPENCER,SHAW, GREAVES,KIRK & COLLYER. If you think you might be connected please contact me.
