William Whyler Tasker and Ann Farr, my 4th Great Grandparents.

William married Ann April 1832, their first child was George Tasker, born 1833. William was convicted of Larceny October 1833 and was given life sentence and shipped to Tasmania April 1834. In April 1842 Ann was convicted for accepting stolen goods and got four months imprisonment. By this time George would be about nine years old. I want to know "WHO LOOKED AFTER GEORGE DURING THOSE FOUR MONTHS?" and was he re-united with his mother when she came out of prison".

I am looking for John McKenzie (MacKenzie) and his wife Elspeth (McLean) McKenzie. I do not know where they were born, but I checked the marriages of Scotland Select Marriages, 1561-1910 and found they married on 7 February 1816 in Fodderty, Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. The only children names I have are:-
Kenneth McKenzie, born 11 January 1828 in Fodderty, Rosshire, Scotland, and Alexander McKenzie, born 1829 in Strathpeffer, Inverness, Scotland. JOHN AND ELSPETH MCKENZIE HAD MORE CHILDREN AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO THEIR NAMES WERE?.
It is written in a file of the Palmerston North Library Archives, New Zealand, that Kenneth McKenzie was one of three brothers who came to New Zealand from Scotland. The youngest of the three was Alexander McKenzie.
Could you please let me know if you have any information about this family. Thank you. Jocelyn Le Noel
