KGoss on Family Tree Circles

I have been searching for Shelby for some time. He is my g-g-g grandfather and Elizabeth was his wife whom he married in 1835. He was born in 1809 in Kentucky and died in 1888 in Clear Creek Township, Jasper County, Iowa. It all started with a small photo album found in my fathers belongins, after he had passed away. I and my sisters had never seen the album, and were astonished to find pictures of this family. We knew the names, but suddenly Shelby came to life. The next question was "Who are his parents?" and this is where we are stuck. He and Elizabeth (who was born in Ohio in 1816) lived in Kentucky, Indiana, and Iowa where they bought land and raised their 10 children:Chesly, Francis M.,Melvina, Semanthe M., Henry, Nelson, Nancy E. (sometimes known as Emma), Elizabeth, and my direct line - William F.
