Hello out there, I have traced back to Phillip Martin born 1742 in Warwickshire , England or Pennsylvania, USA. He married Barbara ? 1765, Rowan County, North Carolina. I have lots of info on Son, Jacob Martin, born in Pennsylvania and married Mary Plemmons. Other children are George, John, Elizabeth, and Hannah Martin who married Daniel Conrad of Catawba County. Most likely, Scots-Irish family traveled the Great Wagon Road from Pennsylvania to Western North Carolina. Any info would be most appreciated.
