This is my first time seeking whanau whakapapa support on any website. Traditionally when searching whanau you would travel to the places and seek the oldest most wise kaumatua to seek the best answers.
However generations change and
as you all know whakapapa, genealogy is very important information to gather and preserve as a whanau kia Kore ai e ngaro.
I and my partner Nicolas Vaughan Jorgenson Kaio have been searching whakapapa on both sides for 5 years. unfortunately with the small knowledge he and I have of his whanau names or whakapapa we have come to a full stop as I found myself going in circles in search of his Kaio side
To the best of my knowledge I will try my best to name the whanau we have correctly
Nick was born to his father Anthony Boyd Kaio, his grandfather known by John Jack (Werahiko) Kaio Grandmother's known as Annie Broughton Paratene unsure of who her husband was
That's all he knows so far any whanau out there with the same search or whanau names
