Wandat44 on Family Tree Circles

I am trying to research james Michael Branum 1819-1884. He was born in Georgia. All I can find is to a Susan Mathews and a Jonathan Vernon. This cannot be right. Can anyone help me.

Louisa Stewart was my greatgrandmother. She was born in 1860 in Tennessee and married John Thomas Armstrong in Franklin County, Texas in 1875. IF anyone has any information on this family I would love to have it. I am up against a brick wall.
