djmat , from Indiana, USA, has been a Family Tree Circles member since Aug 2009. is researching the following names: SERVICE, WHITENECK, BRONSON and 1 other(s).

Service, Whiteneck, Bronson, Glover. Looking for information on following: Henry Service, born 1820, County Derry, Ireland. Naturalization paper states he left Ireland from Belfast in Apr. 1843 and arrived in New York, Aug.1846. An article in the book "The History of Johnson County" (Indiana) say's he landed in Quebec then went to Philadelphia on to Ohio and then settled in Indiana (Johnson County,Franklin). No mention of arriving in at a complete loss there. Can't find any traces of him until his Naturalization in 1854. Looking for any information on Leah H. Whiteneck, born abt. 1820+ either in New Jersey or Ohio. She died Leah Service (Henry's 1st wife) on Dec.14th, 1865. Looking for info on Liza or Eliza J. Service, daughter of Henry and Leah Service, born 1861 in Johnson County, IN. She married a Jeff D. Bronson in 1883 and they moved away to Alabama then to TN. Trying to find a death date on her and any children she may have had. Also looking for any info on Sarah Glover, born abt. 1845 in Ireland. Mother's name was Margaret Glover born abt. 1807-1810 in Ireland. Sarah was 2nd wife to Henry Service, she was quite a bit younger than him. Henry Service died in 1885 leaving Sarah as his widow. Can not find any trace of her after that. She may have moved to Indpls., IN and later remarried...possibly to a man last name of Anderson/Andersen. Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
