Nathaniel was born 16 Sep 1868, Romance, White Co., AR and died 11 Aug 1903, Pangburn, White County AR. Nathaniels father might be a Franklin Sisson. Nathaniel lists his father as from Mississippi and his mother from Alabama in the 1900 White County AR census. His children believe their grandfather died 1911-1912 in Morrilton AR.
Documentation has Nathaniel living in Faulkner County AR in 1899., an the 1900 census he was living in Pangurn with his family. Mary his wife, daughters Allie and Maude and son William Franklin.
Documentation shows he was a Justice of the Peace in White County AR 1901-1902. Family lore tells us he was a "rafter on the Little Red River". We cannot find documentation regarding the exact names of his parents. His living son was supposedly name William Franklin after Nathaniels father. Nathaniels first son, born about 1890 and died 1892 was named James Porter Sisson. He has not been found in any cemetery records. I have been searching for more than 20 years for this mans parents.
