I am looking for any informationrelating to Agnes Julia Donovan who married Henry Renaud ca. 1898 and lived in Cumberland RI, Her son Patrick Joseph Renaud dob September 1902 was my father. I have no further information about her.

In researching my grandparents, (see my other journals) I have found my grandmother Ellen O'Rourke nee O'Malley had a brother named Hugh O'Malley who emigrated or one of his children to the Baltimore area in Maryland. Does anyone have any info. I have running into a brickwall as they all seem to have come over around 1930 and the 1940 census is not available. Thanks. Mary

Reasearching my aunt Eileen or Ellen O'Rourke was was married to Anthony or Antony Cavalcante. They had at least three children: Anthony, Mark and a daughter.

Her parents were Felix and Ellen O'Rourke, siblings, Frederick James, Maryann (my mother), Philip and Gerald . Parent came to States from Co. Armagh Ireland sometime around 1930. All the children were born in New York City during the '30s and/or early '40s.

Any info appreciated.

Paternal Grandfather: Henry Renaud dob 4/1881, emmigrated from Canada to US ca 1899 with his family (father Peter Renaud dob 10/1860, mother Rosie or Rose dob 7/1860 and sister Margerite dob 7/1893), paternal grandmother, Henry's wife: Ethel (nee unknown) dob ca 1882, emmigrated from Ireland (CO unknown) in 1897. Their children per 1920 US Federal Census: Archie, Patrick (my father), Phelic or Felix with possible middle name William, John, Henry Jr, Elizabeth.

By the 1930 Census Henry Renaud then married to Katherine. Children still at home Felix, John Henry jr, Elizabeth (Bessie) and new child Mary.

All of the above in Cumberland RI.

According to the 1930 Census my father Patrick Joseph (PJ) Renaud had moved to New York and was married to Isabelle, nee unknown. No Children.

In 1955 he married my mother: Maryann nee O'Rourke. And I was born 1957, their only child. Patrick died January 1974 and Maryann died January 1964.

Maternal grandfather: Felix O'Rourke dob ca 1909 Co. Armagh, Ireland, emmegrated to US around 1928-1930. Maternal grandmother: Ellen nee O'Malley dob unknown, Ireland, Co unknown. They married before leaving Ireland and lived in New York City, Bronx. Ellen dod unknown but sometime in 1940's or 50's. Felix dod late 1979. Their children were Frederick James, Maryann (my mother),Philip, Ellen, Gerald. All born New York City in the 1930's.
