My father was Leonard Robert HEDGES born 1909 in London and died in Essex in 1962. He was married to a Rose Esther COTTER in 1937 in West Ham, London. His father was called Robert Horace HEDGES and mother Ellen Louisa PYE.Robert Horace HEDGES' father was Samuel Thomas HEDGES born around 1846 and he was married to Ann ?

I am not sure who Samuel's father was either James or Francis born around 1811. I am sure he was married to Jane BURGESS ?.

My grandfather was Thomas COTTER born 1898 and died in Flanders, France in the Second World War. He was married to a Mary Ann BUTCHER in 1907 in West Ham, London. His father was called William COTTER and mother I understand was Mary HOARE but I cannot find that they got married.

William COTTER lived in Ireland around 1844ish and Mary was born in Cork, Ireland on 24 Sept 1848.

My mother was Rose Esther COTTER born 1912 and she was the daughter of Thomas COTTER and Mary BUTCHER.
