Daniel Morand of Goulburn had ? children, there were two girls, Julia catherine morand, and therese ? morand, the former married a William Jenkins of Seymour, the latter married a Keating from Woodend having a large family, including Tillie and May. Julia discovered that her marriage was invalid due to her husband being already married to another.She later married Joseph Harrison of Thoona Vic.Her daughter by Jenkins was Alice May (my grandmother).

My great grandparents were Michael Francis Higgins and Brigid Torpey, Australia, their children Timothy O'Callaghan Higgins and Edward Cudmore Higgins. Am looking for Brigid's family. She had many sisters , they married into the White family having daughters Maureen and Carmel. Not sure if these girls were cousins of Tim and Ed or my father, Francis Higgins' cousins. othernames associated with Torpeys are Carroll, Kennedy.....Have photos of Maureen and Carmel White also Brigid Torpey. Latter's name could be Bridget.
