LAURIN family of Manitoba, Canada 1800-1865
The earliest Laurin I have found is Hormidas Laurin born 1865, Jan. 01. He married Saflaronie Plante. Their children included my father-in-law, Leandre. Any related information is most welcome.

GREGG family of Sligo Ireland who emigrated to Canada 1800s
I know the area that the family came from, but no names. My grandfather was Samuel George GREGG who grew up in Southwest Ontario, Canada.He later moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada with his wife Edith Emma PENHALL, who was related to the SIFTON family. There were two GREGG brothers who were given land because they returned army pay that they found. I think one brother was my greatgrandfather.

My grandparents were from Monmouthshire,Wales. Oliver Edward EDWARDS married Anna EDWARDS. They immigrated to Canada in 1928-29. My grandfather had two brothers, Jack and William.
Looking for PENHALL family ancestors in Cornwall UK .
My great grandparents were Rev. William PENHALL and Eliza HUNT of southwest Ontario, Canada. The HUNT's are related to the SIFTON family. I found Penhall parents of William(born 1852) in the 1881 Census in Cornwall,UK. His Father was also a William PENHALL,a miner in St. Austell Downs and his mother was Caroline STEVENS. I'm now searching back for their families.

His family came from Sligo in Ireland in the early 1800's? ( two brothers) who were given farmland in southwest Ontario because they found and returned lost army pay pacets.
He married Edith Emma Penhall in Ontario but later moved to Calgary Alberta. He died in 1952.
