I thought with a name like Perle, he would be easy to trace. I was Oh, so wrong!
Perle E. Clark was my grandfather. When he and my grandmother got divorced my father and uncle were very young and dont remember anything about him. To further complicate matters, my grandmother never spoke of him or his family and even cut his pictures out of the family photos.
I do know he was a house painter by trade. He was in the service in WWl and stationed in Washington, where he and my grandmother, Anne Doty were married around 1916. His draft card has his name listed as Paul E, a name he frequently went by. Any information about his parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated.
