my mother is Gerda Petro Bronkhorst (also Visser, Vosloo and Calitz married surnames). She was born on 14 December 1954. My father is Johannes Matthys Vosloo (known as Vossie/Seuntjie to his family. He was born on 23 April 1952. I don't know my father's family well at all as he never had much contact. His grandmother was Ellie and his aunt was Martha. My mother's side I know a bit better. My mother has a sister named Hannah and a brother named Jannie (Cornelius Johannes). My grandmother was Stoffelina Gerhardina Blake (also married Bronkhorst and Louw (Pieter Auret Louw). She was born on 12 July 1930. My grandfather was Cornelius Johannes Lourens Richard Bronkhorsts. He used to work for the railway service but tragically passed away in a train accident at a young age. I was told that one of my great grandfathers' names were Abeljou. I hope to find some family and learn more about my family history.
