Looking for James Martin Hillhouse Taylor

Very little is known of this gentleman, who is my husband's gggrandfather. He arrived in Australia before 1847. He was said to have come from Bristol, England. He resided in Morpeth NSW and had a bond store in this town.
Any information relating to his life in Bristol or in Morpeth would be much appreciated.

Looking for Jane Selby

Jane Selby married William Mildwater/s in Sydney on 16 July 1840. William had a shop in the Rocks area and later moved to Manly.
Does anyone know anything about JANE SELBY? The only information available said she came from Liverpool in England.

William was the first Town Clerk of Manly Council in the 1880s.
There is very little information relating to this man. You would think that holding a position such as this there would be a profile of information on him. However the only known information given by him on a document was that his father was John Johnson and his mother was Maria Cox and he was born in Parramatta about 1840.
To date I have not been able to find any information on either of his parents.

If there is anyone out there who has any information I would appreciate their contacting me.

Looking for Duke of Dittisham, Devon, England

As I am new to this site I thought I would start with a family that I do have some knowledge of.
My great grandfather was Christopher Terry Duke and I know that he was born in Dittisham. However I do not know how he was able to travel to Australia in possibly about 1840-1850.
