I am researching Jesse Pemberton who lived in Wilson County, TN from about 1803 until the 1850's. He had six male children living with him on the 1820 census. They may have been William, John, Jesse, James and Joshua. William may have married Martha Brooks. John married Licha Johnson, Jesse married Saluda Bradley, James married Parka Bradley and Joshua married Milly Dudley. John, Jesse and Joshua moved to Hamilton County, IL between 1848 and 1852. If I have the correct William he lived in Davidson County, TN. He and his wife Martha died about 1843 leaving two son's, William Young Pemberton and John B. Pemberton. James remained in Wilson County, TN.
