Am looking for descendants of Catherine and Decatur EPPS-Lola and Lillie twin daughters of Catherine & Decatur
My gg grandmother (Catherine LENTZ RIDLEY) remarried after my gg grandfather Alfred Burton RIDLEY died in a sawmill accident in north GA about 1852. She had twin girls Lola and Lila (Lille)? EPPS and her EPPS husband died after an injury sustained by a musket ball at Battle of Chickamauga in the Civil War. The legend handed down tells how Catherine LENTZ RIDLEY EPPS drove a wagon across the north GA mountains with her four boys by Henry Jacob RIDLEY-including a set of twins--one being my great grandfather-Henry Jacob RIDLEY--to bring Decatur EPPS back from the battle field to die at home. They lived in Murray Country/Union County GA USA . Apparently Catherine and Decatur EPPS were buried in or near Dalton Murray Co, GA. I have not located their burial spots. Catherine was a very strong, determined and strict woman as remembered by my grandfather, John McIntyre RIDLEY. I would appreciate any information about any of this family or any EPPS descendants who may be living in GA or AL USA.

Am descendant of Nancy Matilda BRAMLETT-GA and AL area. Her aunt Agnes BRAMLETT married D. PURMORT who changed his name from D. PECK.
He was from NY and came south during the Civil War. I am looking for descendants of the PURMORT family and also trying to locate the burial spot for Agnes and Dillivan PURMORT. Any information is appreciated.
