Looking for George Charles Davis b 1870 Essex England maybe, was in New Zealand from 1903 to about 1923 give or take 10 years He was a carpenter and worked for the NZ rail bridge building around Feilding; I am a 4th generation New Zealander now living in Australia, Tweed Heads, for the last 30+ years

Interested in vegetable Gardening belonging to Organic growers on the Gold coast. Convener of the Prostate Awareness Twin Towns & Tweed Coast. Have two children on the gold coast with 4 grand children in Australia & 1 in NZ with 2 grand children in NZ.
The davis family tree is created in order to try and find my grandfather who disapeared from the family home in Fielding around 1922 and the family Fragmented with the youngest child being put into an orphanage at Masterton, around that time
My father started looking for his father about 1940. This I can remember and so today I am still tryiong to find out who he was, where he came from, and where he went. I was born in Hawera in the mid 1930s and I am the eldest Male Davis grand child of George Charles Davis & Amy Hanham
