I would love to know more about my nanny Baker and how life was for her as a small girl before she married my koro, WIREMU KARAITIANA. Nanny Baker had passed away before I was born in 1963, so I neither got to meet her or do I have many shared whanau memories.

Nanny Baker was with my Koro Karaitiana (Ngamotu) in Tarawera before they moved with their children into Taupo and lived in Laughton Street until they both passed away. The family home was passed down to their children, Neil Karaitiana, May Karaitiana (aunty Bib), Johnson Karaitiana, Paea Karaitiana (Aunty Tishy), Dean Karaitiana and my father Peterson Karaitiana.
