wannabe on Family Tree Circles

Parents william taylor and isabella taylor (nee ward) both born around 1800 in earsdon/ muggleswick.
Moved to stepney, london about 1839.
Trying to find thomas john on the 1851 census - no success.

I believe he may have moved to manchester and married a elizabeth herbert, had a child called elizabeth about 1851/2. poss. emigrated to adelaide, australia about 1852/5.

All possibilities but no evidence to firmly back this info. going round in circles.
Need certs. to back the above.

ps got a marriage cert. for thomas and elizabeth for july 1850, eccles, pendleton. but wrong fa. for thomas.

Where was Thomas John Taylor on the 1851 census?? can you help?
