1988Lea on Family Tree Circles

I have had little success in discovering where my great-grandmother’s family came from before settling down in Watauga County, or in County nearby to what would become Avery Co., NC in 1911. She was born Julia Clementine Rowe. Her parents were John M. Rowe and Rhoda (Rhonda?) Rowe. Julia Clementine Rowe married David Riddle. Their children were John Preston, Luther, Arthur and Victor. I am particularly stuck on the parentage and ancestry of of Julia’s parents. If anyone has any information that would be helpful I would be very appreciative. Thank you.
