There is in NC an Isaac WADE b bet 1758-1760m (1) Phoebe - 6-8 children. (2) Charolete - no issue. Phoebe dies. He m Charolet. No issue. Fine, so far. But, now appears in VA an Isaac WADE about 2
yrs differende in age with a lady I have never heard of. Here is the
"kicker"....all the children of this Isaac in VA with this "unknown" wife are identical to those of Isaac and Phoebe in NC. Oh, his marriage in VA is after the last child of Phoebe was born! Would love to straighten all this out for the DAR/War of 1812/UDC and a few more. My late Mother could not find the differences after many years and I am still looking.
There is an Isaac, Jr who m Mary STEPHENS. One of their sons is Irvin Green WADE who m Barbary Ann STEPHENS. One of their daughters
is my great-grandmother Elizabeth Frances WADE whose Father is Irvin Green WADE. She married (1) William Champion WHITAKER. One of their daughters is my grandmother Amada Dora WHITAKER who married Thomas
Jefferson Davis WALTERS. One of their daughters is my Mother Velma
Vera (WALTERS) Moore
