Emerson on Family Tree Circles

Records indicate John Dempster was born 10 July 1806, he was the eldest son of Samual and Mary Crosbie from Craignecoon, Tyron, Dumfries, Scotland. He was the eldest of eight children. Any help would be appreciated. I have followed one of his younger brothers William Dempster to all possible ends.I am trying to get help with the rest of the family.
