I am searching for any Mehlert family members outside of Australia.
I was born in Orbost Victoria Australia on October 23rd 1947 to:
George & Dorothy Mehlert(nee Marshall). I am the eldest of six children ( 4 girls & 2 boys). George was born on 13th March 1925 and he now lives in Croydon Victoria.
I will happily reply to any Mehlerts' who contact me.
While searching the internet I have noticed the name of Calvin Mehlert mentioned many times. My Dad George tried to contact him many years ago but all letters were returned stating that he was unknown. We now read that he was involved with a Chinese Junk that was sailed from the East at this time. Dad had read an account of his trip hence the attempt to contact him.
