I'm researching my husbands ancestors in the White family. With DNA thrulines I have gone with great certainty up to Henry H.WHITE b. April 24, 1724 in Buckingham County, Virginia. d. June 17, 1802 at the age of 78 in Bedford Co. Virginia. Henry was buried at Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson, Pickens Co
So.Carolina.

Married to Celia Bryant PAGE in 1748 Celia b. Sept 18,1732 d/ Mar 31,1799 in Buckingham Co

Henry lived in Buckingham Co till 1800 He sold his property, drew up a will and went to Bedford to live with his son Jacob till his death 1802. He was a weaver by occupation. He served in the Revolutionary War in the Continental troops of Virginia.

In the Will of Henry WHITE he gives a description of his family's Coat of Arms:

Arms: Gu(red) a Chevron Vain, between Three Lions Rampant or Gold
Crest: Out of a Ducal Coronet or Gold, a demi eagle, wings expanded sable (black)
Motto: Loyal unto death

Capt Daniel H. WHITE parents are Col. John WHITE II b.1665 Isle of Wright VA and Mary Elizabeth ELBERT (Ellet, Elliot) b.1687
Col.John WHITE II parents are John WHITE I b.1629 Cheshire Eng. d.1717 Isle of Wight Va Colony and Eady LIEWELLIN 1664b.1580
John WHITE I parents are Rev William WHITE b.1580 England (Wiltshire,Yorkshire or Cheshire) and Ellen Edwards b.1629 England who emigrated to Virginia in 1635 on the Transport of London that sailed from Gravesend in June 1635. along with 7 week old son William.
Thier Son Thomas came aboard the Ship George in August 1635 at 16 yrs old and their son John came in 1639 at the age of 9. Their son Henry the oldest chose to stay in England. Ellen died sometime before 1640 because William married a widow named Mrs. Alford in 1640 and her daughter Mary Alford is mentioned in Williams will. Mrs Alford must of died before 1657 because he married his third wife Martha Brice, widow of Planter Thomas Brice. In Williams will he mentions his sons John, William and Edward and daughter Deborah, daughter in Law, his widow Martha and step daughter Mary Alford.

And the bigger question is who is Rev. William WHITES parents....we believe they are Rev Peter WHITE Vicar of St Neots and Mary Worthley Keebler.
